Plumbing Drain Question
«

Does anyone know the standard slope for a toilet drain line?
I have to trench the septic line tomarrow morning and need to know how much drop over a certain distance is correct for proper sewage drainage.

I was always told you should be somewhere between 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch per foot for sewer lines.

I'm just now putting a new bathroom in and we just ran the toilet sewer line the other day... The book I read said 1/4" per foot.
