My buddy down in AR has been hunting ducks and geese with the owner of Echo game calls. They want a sample of Osage to turn some calls and if they like what I send it could mean "lots" more wood going south.

Frank, is Big Leaf Maple a good acustical wood? I suspect it is if its in the hard maple family but I dont know the first thing about it.

If you want to send some samples for them to try I can get you the address.
