Well I been welding on my mill extention at work in spare time. Kasco wants $490. For a 4’ extension, so im building my own 7’ extension, so I can cut 19’ beams for solar kiln headers.  These are the feet that level the mill; I need 4 more for extension. I keep bending them when turning a large log so im building new ones & adding ¾” squire stock to reinforce them

I got some 1” all thread  for the adj. bolts

Heavier duty materials is always the case, when one is improving on anothers works.  Sounds as though you will have better success with stopping the bending.
