Very cool video showing what it was like.  I liked it!

Too bad the tree huggers had to leave all those negative comments...little do they know, the house that they are living in might have some of those boards in them.

Steel wedges, no hard hats, and choppers, not cutters.  I'll bet those guys couldn't eat enough lunch. 

My father in law started his logging carreer in the red woods peeling the bark off so they would fit on the trucks better.  That would be in the late '40's.

boy, i thought i had it hard now a days.  i need to watch these old videos like this to get snapped back into reality.  here is another old video more of carpentry.  i like these old videos like this, maybe this should be the old video thread, or maybe make a new thread for old videos.  ill leave that to the mods.
