log arch construction

i built this several years ago these are the only pic i got left i used squair tubing on upright frame & 1/4" wall round for toung
the firtilzer spreader that i junked for the hubs had wheels that were rusted thyrough so i cut the center out of 3/4 ton ford pu wheel & welded it in

done arch loaded

i dont know but i moved a white oak log 12' long 24" on one end & 20" on the other. using a 8000lb ramsey winch, was probly close to the limit for the arch.
has 8 ply 16" tires
frank sells some smaller versions

Well it looks well constructed.
I would think that the tires would be the limiting factor on just about any type of "Arch"....  That and the tongue weight....

you have to load it so the weight is on the arch with a little toung weight , then it tracks great
i had no toung weight once & it was all over the place.
