so i guess i got it overloaded as the the front tires were comming of the ground & i was sterring with brakes
when the upright rod from the 3point arm to the top arm broke

yea well the lift would bottem out on ground before the tractor could roll over
i got a pice of log chain in place now as tempory fix

I can relate to the lumber coming off of the forks, for sure.  More than once for me.  More than anything, it has been the load was a little to one side or I came to a slight dip in the log yard or the road.   Short material is not so much of sa problem, to reload and sticker, but the loads that are 12' or more of Oak is challenging to say the least.
