The risk of the F-word(fire)
« on: January 16, 2011, 12:41:54 PM »
I drive by a kiln in Russellville, AR.  Monday through Friday on my route at work.

One day I happened to drive by and found a lot of smoke(t'was smoke, the fire department doesn't show up for steam).  So I was wondering what, if anything, is done to your kilns to keep 'em from getting out of hand(burning down)?

I have no idea why the fire started, nothing was said about it on the news.....

Unless some sparks were able to get out of the Taylor furnace I see little chance of a fire from that source, for me.  The could possible be an electrical fire, but nothing has even looked remotely possible in that respect, either, even with all the plug-ins inside the refer trailer.
