Wanted--Powerful Snowmobile CVT
« on: January 22, 2011, 05:48:50 PM »

Need both pulleys , driver and driven, from a used powerful Snowmobile. Needs to be something I can source springs, rollers, etc. for, so I can tune it to fit my Electric 3 wheel Motorcycle build.

Possibly, even use a Motorcycle CVT. I'm building for a 2 person with small hauling rate for groceries, etc.

Not to many snowmobiles in these parts.  Got to go further north to justify the expense for a few months of playing.

Down here we probably dont have 45 days of snow on the ground combined all winter.

Dont know of anyone around these parts with old bikes in the weeds.  We be northerners, we keep our junk runnin  ;D

We get enough snow to ride a snow mobile about once every ten years. Got a lot of snow last year, this year maybe 1 1/2"

No, BUT, I'm nearly ready to launch my electrical motorcycle-bicycle. Waiting for a crate from Customs to get here, any day this week, with a bunch of batteries.

Money is tight, so, I'm gathering parts for building my small log processor. We start thinning trees next year, so, I gotta get busy.

Finally got my mig welder here. Need more stuff shipped down.  ::) ::) :D

HELL YEAH, stay in touch. Alaska. I've been seriously thinking about offering my services to the Nome crowd, to show them how to find the gold, first, before vacuuming the whole damn sea floor.

It would be a long boat ride from here, though.  ::)

Bush Pilot, EH ???  Brings back memories.  :o :o :o :o

I met a airplane mechanic the other day when he found out the kind of flying I like, he said, " I never fly off airport, but I like the guys that do....they keep me in business!"

You wouldn't happen to use Skype for talking, would you ?? I use it to talk with my family, and, it's FREE. Just load it on the computer and go for it.

I would love to have a talk with you.  ;D ;D

It's so easy, even I can use it. Takes nothing special, computer, speakers, cheap headset to use the microphone and download. Just make a weird username and password, and yer ready to go.  ;D

Knowing you, I'm sure modding would take place if need be.

The Skype works very well, and there are rates for calling land lines that might be less expensive.

I even had a 3 way talk with my Son and Daughter a couple times. She never did figure out how.
