ele fence spining jenny

(1/2) > >>

mike p:
so im going in the intinsified grazeing program were your cattle  graze only an area big enough for a few days then you move them so the manure gets spreed more evenly instead of all at the resting /trees or water hole .
they get to trample the undesirables & eat all the good stuff with out picking & choseing only the favirate.
its soposed to be better for the land & animal.
so im building 4500 ' of 2 strand 121/2 gage smooth wire ele fence . it comes in 4000 ' rolls . they tell me if you cut the bands before it in a jenney or jig it will unwind like a slinkey. so i went on a spinning jenny tool hunt .
found em for $175. that bolts to truck flat bed i wanted one to put on my NAA ford tractor no luck so collected a bunch of scrap i had lieing around & went to welding today & this is what i got
built the hole thing for price of welding wire & bought 5 nuts.

Kirk Allen:
I have to say I have absolutly NO CLUE what that is or what its meant to do ???

mike p:
well when i get a spool of ele fence wire on it ill take a nother pic
its to prevent the smoth wire from unwinding all over the place
& i made it to go on the tractor

Carl Middleton:
Thats how they do it around here.Moving the cattle from one sec to another seems to help the grass grow in better

Frank Pender - AKA "Tail Gunner":
